AMD Expands Meta AI Partnership With A Massive 6 Gigawatt GPU Win

Advanced Micro Devices is continuing to accelerate its push into hyperscale AI infrastructure, and today AMD and Meta announced a dramatically expanded strategic partnership to deploy up to 6 gigawatts of AI compute capacity built around AMD’s next-generation Instinct GPUs, EPYC CPUs, and rack-scale Helios systems.

The agreement represents one of the largest AI infrastructure commitments for the company to date and reinforces AMD’s growing relevance as hyperscalers look to diversify beyond Nvidia as a single dominant silicon supplier.
