Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus Sets Efficient Performance Bar In New Benchmarks

Today, Qualcomm took the wraps off more details, additional platform models and performance of its Snapdragon X AI PC platform offering. In addition to fleshing out the full product stack of its new Snapdragon X Elite laptop processors, the company introduced a new high-tier variant, dubbed Snapdragon X Plus, for AI-enabled mainstream PCs, in a more modest power envelope for even better battery life. Snapdragon X Plus is based on the same Oryon CPU, Adreno GPU and Hexagon NPU architectures as the company’s Snapdragon X Elite platform, though this chip sports a 10-core CPU complex versus 12 cores in the higher-end product, and a max multi-core frequency of 3.4GHz with no dual-core boost speeds like some of the X Elite products.
